I treat my children with Dove's Pro-Age body lotion (not the cream) - it contains lactic acid and is relatively cheap. I bath them in Sanex Kids Bath which contains Lactic Acid and scrub them with a loofah I found in the Body Shop. It helps but it never goes away completely! Good Luck!

Hi Katie,

I would recommend Jan Marini Bioglycolic hand and body lotion (also the Biogylycolic body scrub is excellent), for use on all the areas that area affected by KP. Also the use of daily dry body brushing would be beneficial! Avoid the use of any mineral/petroleum based body lotions as well. Over time, with the use of a good glycolic acid product (as mentioned above) will give you some results! be patient though, and allow up to 3 months for visible results to show.

Please let me know how you get on?

Hi

this is probably the first UK site i have come across when researching KP as its also know; I have it on my arms (all over), lower back, bum, & legs and it effects my confidence a lot even though I take care of my skin very well. The only product which I have found & keeps reappearing on all sites as a recommended product is the Dermadoctor KP duty cream but guess what you can't buy it in the UK mybe we're not as vain as our US cousins as they are crazy for it. Its too expensive for me to ship a bottle over from the States and apparently one bottle doesn't last very long with the amount I'd use it I'd need 100 of them! You have mentioned using products which contain certian ingrediants does anyone know of commerical products available in the UK which contain these magic ingrediants to help KP sufferers like me?
I've had it all my life it makes me miserable and i look ugly with it please someone answer this-thankyou!
